dash swap

a guy i know is guttin his crx of everything to be a full blown race car that means seats cluster etc i really want to get the stuff an swap everything over i know it can be done but is going to be a all day project am i going to half to cut an drill can somebody give me the low down an how much would u pay for everything seats, dash an cluster thanks

ok, good score, the whole deal with the seats, dash, center console, gauges, all vents is about $300-500 U.S.

as far as the swap, personally I did it, it looks amazing, there is roughly about 3hrs of work, unbolting your old dash, re-VIN' the tags, and plugging all the controls back in....there is no drilling or cutting needed, everything but 2 bolts dont fit, but they dont cause any trouble whatsoever, and if you are creative you can make something for it.....the only real trouble you could possibly get into is if you swap gauge clusters from 88-89 into a 90-91 civic or vice-versa.....it poses a problem with the wiring to the gauge but can be solved....trust me.....if you need any more info just ask.....

yeah thanks red90dx i luck out there cause it's the same year as mine to so the cluster shouldnt be a prolbrem so the dash bolts right in but the seats dont?

i think i seen that the si seats dont bolt right in is that true?

for the seats you can probably just use the breackets out of your civic and bolt them to the CRX seats

I recently put CRX si seats (forget what year) into my 91 DX hatch. I used the dx rails, but not only had to weld them to the seat, I had to widen them about inch 1/2 on each side.
